"SET-WIDTH"
RIVER SPLINES |
Using
"set-width" splines for rivers allows the most inexperienced modeller to create
amazingly realistic rivers in seconds.
To reduce the unrealistic repeating pattern
that's common when using a repeating spline we have created each river in 5 different
connecting splines including both standard river and rapid splines. By mixing the splines
the modeller can achieve unique variations in each of their rivers. |

This allows the modeller
to flow their own terrain into and around the river. |

RAPID ROCKS AND WATER

| To add still further to the
realism we've also included a set of animated "rapid" rocks. There are 4 different rock types with animated water flowing around
the rocks and an attached river water sound. Each rock type comes in 5 different rock
textures giving a total of 20 different "rapid" rocks to select from.
By placing these randomly in the river or by the
waterfalls a further level of reality can be obtained. |
