CLIFF LEDGE RAIL SPLINE |
| Laying rail track in the real
world was at times a slow and extremely difficult task as engineers sought to transverse
very difficult and mountainous country. In many cases narrow ledges had to be cut along
the sides of deep ravines and gorges. As this was an expensive job the ledges where kept
as narrow as possible. Unfortunately TRAINZ Surveyor does not have the ability to lay
realistic narrow ledges. They end up unrealistically wide and with the stretched texturing
a high standard of realism is impossible to achieve. By
using TRAINZONE's narrow pre-tracked rail ledge splines very narrow ledges can be created
to add a much higher level of realism to your layout.
While the rail ledge splines can be used on their own, an
even higher level of realistic rugged-country scenery can be created when they are used in
conjunction with the cliff splines. |

THE
USE OF ALTERNATE TRACK
While we have tried to include a wide
range of available track with the Cliff Ledge Rail Splines it is realised that many
modellers will have different track that they would rather use.
This can be done by simply modifying the
track kuid number in the Config.txt file. The details for how to so this are are included
on the Download Page. |
